I have been into art as far back as I can remember, ever since my education as jeweler. Visual art specifically has a lot of attractive elements to me -
It is a visual language. I put into my art, elements that communicate things both about the subject matter, and about myself.
It is hard to pin down where the ideas come from, as it seems that they can come from anywhere at any time.
I mainly work in Illustrator but I usually have a sketchbook on me, where I will design my ideas. Working traditionally quiets my mind and helps me focus on the art. Like this, I could work from a few days to several weeks on one piece.
