"Tattoo you" contains an selection of pictures taken during a period of four years. It contains a selection of portraits of people who reveal their personality through their tattoos.

In the whole world people start adding more and more tattoos and piercings on their body, for many this is a way to express their feelings, view on art, remind their causes in live or just simple show the world their true self.
A tattoo is something special because it's made on your own body and chosen with your own mind.
A tattoo is meant for life. Their tattoos tell those stories.
Tattoos intrigue me, although I haven't got any myself.

As a photographer I want to show faces. I combine my preference for portrait photography with my fascination for tattoos.
My photos show people how they are. In the beginning I worked in colour as well in black and white.
I later consciously opted for black and white.
